JL Circus offers free weekly classes and theatre sessions to young people in Haringey out of school hours. LAUNCH is our free careers and skills development programme, offering interactive schools workshops that illuminate the many career paths within the arts. LAUNCH’s other component is our free weekly Drama and Theatre sessions for 16 – 25-year-olds, held at Jacksons Lane.
Following on from our decades-long tradition of Thursday lunches at Jacksons Lane, guests join our facilitator for a weekly artistic exchange for over-55s, via Zoom.
Lockdown Lunch is an evolution of our pre-pandemic Social Lunch programme, which has blossomed into something quite of its own.
Feeling Good matchmakes isolated and vulnerable older adults with a volunteer through personality, preference and postcode.
The project has created more than 100 pairings since beginning in 2021.
Together has enabled enriching partnerships between arts practitioners, care workers and health professionals in Haringey.
We work with a commitment to reducing isolation and increasing well-being for our participants.
Our showpiece event for older adults. Christmas Day at Jacksons Lane consists of welcoming older adults who are alone during the holidays for a festive celebration, and has been going for more than 45 years.
